About Gate Examination

GATE is an online examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to post-graduate Programmes (master’s and doctorate) in Indian higher education institutes. The GATE score is also used by some public and private sector organizations for employment screening purposes.

The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3 hours duration that is divided into two sections: Section A (General Aptitude) and Section B (subject-specific papers).
